Cancellations & Payment Policy

At MBJ TRAVELS, we are committed to providing transparent, flexible, and hassle-free travel services. This Cancellation and Payment Policy outlines our guidelines for payments, booking confirmations, date changes, cancellations, and refund processing for all services booked via www.mbj-travels.com or our customer support team.

1. Payment Policy & Terms

• Payment Modes: We accept payments via Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, and authorized digital payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU).
• Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only after the requisite booking amount or full payment is received and an official confirmation voucher/e-ticket is issued by MBJ TRAVELS.
• Dynamic Fares: Flight tickets and dynamic hotel rates require 100% upfront payment at the time of reservation to secure the quoted fare.
• Package Stage Payments: For customized holiday packages, an initial booking advance is required, and the balance payment must be cleared prior to ticket issuance or hotel voucher dispatch.

2. General Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted directly to MBJ TRAVELS via email or WhatsApp from the registered contact details used during the booking.

• Cancellation charges consist of:
  • Airline / Hotel / Operator specific cancellation penalty.
  • MBJ TRAVELS standard service facilitation and handling fee.
• Convenience charges, payment gateway fees, and visa processing charges are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

3. Service-Specific Cancellation Guidelines

A. Flight Bookings

• Flight cancellation requests must be raised at least 4 to 24 hours (subject to airline rules) prior to departure time.
• For “No-Show” cases (where the passenger fails to check-in or cancel before the airline cutoff), the airline penalty may be up to 100% of the base fare.
• Promo fares, flash sales, and special airline deals are non-refundable and non-reroutable.

B. Hotel Reservations

• Hotel cancellations depend strictly on the individual property’s rate rules (Refundable vs. Non-Refundable room rates).
• For refundable room bookings, cancellations made within the free cancellation window will be processed after deduction of the MBJ TRAVELS administrative fee.

D. Visa & Documentation Services

Visa fees, consular fees, embassy appointment fees, and service charges are 100% non-refundable once the application has been processed or submitted to the respective embassy/consulate, regardless of whether the visa is granted or rejected.

4. Refund Process and Timelines

• Verification: Once a cancellation request is received and verified, we submit the refund claim to the respective airline, hotel, or supplier.
• Settlement Timeline: Upon receipt of funds from the principal service provider, MBJ TRAVELS will process the refund to your original payment method within 7 to 14 working days.
• Bank Processing: The actual time for the refund to reflect in your account or credit card statement depends on your bank’s billing and clearing cycle.

5. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Disruptions

In the event of flight cancellations, government travel restrictions, weather disruptions, natural disasters, or technical groundings (Force Majeure events), refunds will be governed solely by the policies issued by the respective carriers and hotels. MBJ TRAVELS will assist in claiming credit shells or eligible cash refunds as permitted by the suppliers.
